Worst Food Show Ever?
After a long couple of days, I finally get some down time and decide to watch some TV. I stumble into a food show called Taste of America on Travel Channel. Yeah, I know. The red flags should have gone up at that point. But I watch. And squirm. And I beg myself to turn the channel. I just can't do it. It is so bad that I needed to continue to watch to confirm that it may be one of the worst shows I have ever seen. I'm actually embarrassed to be blogging about it, but I feel it's my obligation to the general public, kind of as a public service announcement.

Yeah, but how could ANYTHING be worse than Paula Deen?

her voice is annoying but i don't mind her as much as the chick from "semi-homemade". god, that is a bomb of a show. actually, this has now inspired me to do a top 10 worst food shows of the year post.

I can even tolerate Rachel Ray and get a laugh out of Emeril. But--you're right--Semi-homemade? Paula Deen? And have you seen Dave Lieberman? With great people like Mario Batali, Wolfgang Puck, Bobby Flay, why they have to resort to this drivel is beyond me. I suspect the folks at Food Network have cooked their own brains out.
